Healing Garden Journal is Michigan’s premier journal for well-being. It is a free, bimonthly publication with a readership of 125,000 people who are committed to improving themselves—body, mind and spirit.
I served as the graphic designer for two years and helped the publication make the transition from a black and white tabloid on newsprint to a professional standard-sized glossy magazine. This basically meant recreating the magazine from scratch, establishing new ad sizes and resizing every existing advertisement. It was quite a challenge to do it in two short months, but a very rewarding experience!
